One of my lease mates was hog hunting Wednesday morning here in Liberty county and had a buck come across legitimately hot on a doe. I've seen younger bucks follow this time of year, but this was a definite shooter he said. We both thought it was still a couple weeks early here too, but I guess we will see this wknd.

Saw a nice mature buck this morning chase a young doe from a pasture across the road in front of me into another pasture and then back across the road in front of me. He was hot on her trail with his mouth wide open and running her like crazy.
