Shingles

I've had them on my twig and giggle berries and it was not fun. Very painful.

You Have made someone very upset with you. I could not imagine that. I had them two years ago on my side. It sucked.

Had them back in 2005 and I had them bad, the pustules (sp) looking bumps and since I didn't know what I had (thought I just was out in the sun too much and were water blisters) I scratched them open and they spread like wildfire! Worst intense nerve pain and sensations I have ever felt and I can deal with a lot of pain. Had to leave work and with being a transplant patient, they had to give me small doses of Zovarax (sp) to combat it. Took about 2 weeks to get rid of it.

I just got over them. Wasn't bad for me. Very little pain, itched more than anything. I don't think that's the norm though.

I was lucky like you with little pain.

Never had it. But my doc did give me a shot for shingles last month. Once in lifetime shot. Ive heard its something you do not want to get. Pretty cool there is a shot for it.

Elk, it isn't a once in a lifetime shot. My dad had the shot, and caught it a few years later.
