    iPhone storage problem?

Question for all of you tech savvy people out there. For some reason my phone won't let me download any apps because it says I have no available storage. It's says I am using 6.3 gigs but that can't be true because I had to delete almost all my apps to get ios7 (which I needed up not being able to get). Currently I am using about 1.5 gigs and it still says 6.3. What gives?
Oh and I have deleted almost all my texts so that can't be it.
    Thanks, Sam

Have you tried moving EVERYTHING to your iCloud? It will store it with iCloud instead of using your phones storage. Do you have any movies downloaded from iTunes? Lots of music?

      Settings
      General
      Usage
Let it load and under storage you can see where all your storage is being used.

Yes, that's where the mystery is. I have added up all my usage (I have 440mb in photos and videos) and it only amounts to 1.5 gb but for some reason it's saying I am using 6.3. I would upload a picture but tapatalk keeps saying "invalid file"

Delete pics and videos you don't really need. Videos take up a huge amount of space. Delete any music you aren't using. Clear out texts and any apps you don't use on a regular basis. If that doesn't work, get a 32 or 64G phone.

16 g phones are quickly going to become obsolete.

the footprint of IOS7 is huge it'll eat something close to 3.5g or something like that

Makes me want to break down and get my screen fixed.
Ios7 does have a lot of cool other features too.

Good luck with the storage problems. Good ole iPhones and storage

I deleted all texts, videos, all but a few pictures, all apps that I added, and anything else I could find and got to the minimum amount of space needed to update. The update fried my phone though so when I took it to Apple I also lost all of my contacts, the rest of my pictures, and anything else I had added since the phone was new.
