Bummer you didn't find her. Those piglets will more then likely make it as other sows will take on orphaned piglets as long as they don't get killed first.

Im keeping a lookout for buzzards. Sure was a lot of blood for there to be no pig. Guessing my arrow is still in her too. Checked my camera and had 11 pigs come in at dark and stay 30 min. All 100+ pounds. I've got plenty of target practice.

Update

She is dead. Had a few buzzards 2 properties over from me Wednesday. Yesterday evening I saw the group of piglets along with the smaller sows with big momma nowhere to be seen! Although I couldn't find her, I thought I made a descent shot especially with all the blood she had lost.

At least she wont have another litter. I had the same thing happen. killed a big ol sow with little striped pigs. I figured they wouldall die but two days later the whole gang was with another sow that had four pigs. She adopted them.

Yeah. I'm planning on some redemption this evening if they come out again. Dang boogers are tearing up the pasture. Hoping they line up nicely and see what the 7 MAG can do.

Times like these I wish I had an AR.
