We have had a couple very large snappers die this year. What do you recommend to clean and seal them with??? My wife wants to use the shells as decorative bowls....

I would not fault anyone for killing one, just think they are slowly disappearing
I saw one 2 years ago in a pool off of the main river near the house, not sure how big it was but it's head was big enough I never even thought turtle. Was looking at it thinking it was a stump about 8" across and looked away and when I looked back it was gone. Took my brain a few minutes to register snapper
