        Other folks are right, it's a Texas Longnose Snake (Rhinocheilus lecontei ).

        A quick identification of a coral snake is not just the color order, but that the red bands also have a significant amount of black pigmentation. On a quick glance, they almost look like a black snake with yellow bands.
        On a long nose snake, the predominant color is that creamy yellow/off white pigmentation. For milk snakes, they're mostly red.
