I have some pretty fancy Remingtons. LOL. I have a 190.00 Mossy under my back seat. I just bought a 200.00 H&R pump 12 that was smoking birds yesterday. I don't understand why people spend so much on shotguns.

I feel the same way about tickets to thrash metal concerts ...
I was trying to figure out what shotgun you had in your dove pics yesterday and now I see it was an H&R... The humpback threw me..Last edited by Smart; 09-10-2013, 08:45 AM.

I use to do 3-5 skeet shoots a year when I had spare time and money. Lots of fun and lots of good looking shotties... I had an ugly 870, 1100, or an extrema as I cant hang with spending 4-20k on a shotgun but I did SEE some nice ones

I can find several instances of glocks exploding in peoples hands, but I post that up and all the glock owners would be up in arms. Heck do a google search on remington 700 trigger defect/failure several links posted up on the internet concerning this issue. You know if I post up a remington 700 junk thread everyone and their dogs would be up in arms about their 2000 dollar pieces of "junk".And wasn't the cause of those poor gun smithing skills and trigger poundage?

I told him from the get go you get what you pay for. About two weeks into shooting clays he was pretty good at busting them but the top ejector started to stick. No mater what he tried it would only work about half the time. We would give him a hard time about his yildiz junk but he was prideful and persistent. Yesterday while wearing the white wings out all hell about broke loose. He said a bird came over and on his first shot he didn't notice anything but on his second shot the gun literally came apart. His forearm has some powder burn but that's about it, thankfully it didn't shoot his hand off or the powder burn didn't blind him!!! Needless to say he's done with the cheep yildiz junk! He contacted Academy and they said that all firearm sales are final. He will have to have a ffl licensed person send it back. What poor product and now customer service! Watch out for all of you that own these pieces of junk, as we are very thankful that this didn't end up much worse than it did.
