I went and test drove the Elite Synergy and Hoyt Vulcan today.
Hoyt Vulcan:
29" draw @ 70lbs
This bow was very nice to shoot. The draw was very smooth. The shot quiet. The new Fuse string silencers (redesigned) do a great job as well as the string suppressor. It drew more smoothly than my trykon but the shot felt the same. Good grip as always on a Hoyt. All around a great bow.
Elite Synergy:
The Birth certificate said 29" @ 70 with a 6gr per pound arrow (i think) 329fps
The one I shot was set at 29.5" draw. This bow was BLAZIN FAST!!!! It out shot the Hoyt IMO. Especially speed wise. It was suprisingly quiet without having string silencers or the STS. It sat in your hand upon release was VERY SMOOTH to draw (just a tad smoother than the Vulcan, but not much) Very clean lookin bow. The range stopped when I shot it just to watch and see how fast it was. The grip was to be desired, but I am going to have Scott make me a custom grip anyway. They had a guy come in shooting 58lbs @ 28" and was getting 282fps with a 400gr arrow.
