        This^^^^^

Each hunter must keep their bag limit separate from the other hunter's. Possession limit is three times the daily bag limit, unless its the first two days of the season.

Do not shoot the small Inka doves, they are protected-big fine. Had a hunter who kept shooting them after being told not to. I called them mexician doves but he wanted to know their proper name. Sent him over to the "guy" in the red flanel shirt, "he knows". The "guy" in the red flanel shirt was also a local GW.

if you are hunting a field as soon as your bird starts falling your complete attention needs to go to where the bird falls until it is in your hand. Don't take your eyes off of the spot it falls until you get to it. If you are hunting a stock tank bring a child that is old enough to swim

wait till they land in a tree or a fence line....the only way i can hit them is if they are standing still.

                # 8 shot with a modified choke. # 8's fill up the modified pattern better than 7 1/2 shot

No baited fields, or hunting near a deer feeder. You can bait quail but not dove/ducks/geese. You can get a ticket even if you do not know the field is baited, or baited less than 10days prior.

Safety first, plug your gun, be an ethical hunter amd only shoot at flying birds(don't shoot them on the ground/out of trees/fence pine). Just a little time to figure out the lead abd you're good.

Most importantly be safe. Take lots of shells. If you think a bird is too far out of range, shoot at it anyways, it's just a shotgun shell your wasting!

Federal regulation state a fully feathered wing must stay attached to migratory game birds until you reach final destination/home. Dove are a migratory game bird. State GW's rarely if ever check for full feathered wing attached, but federal GW's just might.

How about a more open choke like improved cylinder? What shot is best then?

If the girl in your avatar is going too then you won't kill a single bird so all this advice is moot! Least I wouldn't!
