    How to stop canting??

I think its canting? I'm right handed and at full draw, what feels natural to me, the top cam is leaning to the right. So... somehow (I don't really know how) I started canting my bow. It's possible I've always done it and never really paid too much attention to the bubble and didn't notice because I never use to shoot over 30 yards or so...
Anyway, its become an issue! Especially when using broad heads and at longer ranges... When my sight bubble is level it feels really weird. I have to FIGHT it to make the bubble level. I've tried holding the bow different in my hand and forcing myself to shoot arrow after arrow with it level but feeling funny to no avail.
For the record its not the bow or that specific bow grip. Same thing with my Mathews, my last bow and my buddies bow.
ANY ideas besides just making the bubble level and shooting even though it feels really wrong?? Maybe a "wrap" or my DL is causing it or something along those lines...?

    Thanks!

Is it a ton of cant? I honestly never use my bubble level a bow is sighted in by being consistant and if it consistant everytime I dont see how there would be an issue. As long your not canting like you would a trad bow. Could be your grip, like the thickness of it

I do the same thing and II've never really put much thought into it. I'm sure it does cause some accuracy issues that I have fought with for a while. Not bad issues but just a little inconsistency issues!

I'm tuned in to this one.

Yes, like you'd cant a trad bow...

For example: IF i ignore the bubble, I shoot fine groups at 20 yards but when I get out farther 40, 50, 60 yards all my hits are right. Even more so off with BH's. This shouldn't happen consider the pins are perfectly even vertically. It's NOT a tuning issue. These last few bows have been tuned and tuned and tuned. I also know it IS the canting because IF I make the bubble level I'm dead nuts at the longer ranges and with BH's. It just feels so weird and takes so much "extra" concentration that no way I can level right while trying to make a quick langer range shot at game.

I wouldn't say its a "ton". It's about a full bubble off center. Which I realize can vary depending on the size of the level on each sight...

Don't know if u do or not but try shooting without the quiver. This will take some weight off the right side. You can also try using a side stabilizer too.

Thanks for the thought but this is all with quiver off. It's not a weight thing I don't think.

What bow? And also bad stance can cause this.. (The position of your feet and such).

Holding your arm out with your palm vertical is not natural. Try extending your arm with nothing in your hand and you will find that the natural position would impart some cant to a bow. So it is a training issue and you are on the right track by recognizing the cause and effect.

Is it a recent problem or something new?

Have you considered a V bar stabilizer set up? Some sort of counter balance to offset the weight of the sight and rest will help get your bows balance back. Even in a hunting set up back weight helps.

And in general terms, it takes 3 times as much back weight as forward weight to balance the bow.

Start with the simple part. Are you positive the sight is level to the riser.
Not all sights have the ability to level the sight, and not all sights are built to bolt on and be perfectly level.
It would be easier to change equipment than your grip.

If it doesn't feel natural to you to hold the bow perfectly vertical then your better option may be to level your sight to the way you cant the bow. You may have to get a different sight or shim yours. Hang a string with a weight from something so you have a nice vertical line. Hold the bow the way you normally do and then adjust the sight so your pins line up with the vertical string.

Hmmm. Wouldn't shiming the sight still leave my arrows leaving off the rest/string unlevel?

Do yourself, and your shooting a favor...and adjust your sight and bubble to your "natural" cant.
