I am amazed by all the people dogging them for something as simple as a bath sponge. I am sure their marketing people presented this as a item that kids would love to use in the bathtub. So I guess Superman bath soap is somehow a slap in the face to the man of steel. 99% of the people saying they would not take the money are lying to themselves.
It is just like a post a few months ago about people not wanting to do business with someone who doesn't support the 2nd amendment. Business is business, I signed a million dollar contract with a customer that is one of the biggest Obama supporters around. But that job will pay my bills and feed my family for a year, just like those bath toys will probably pay for one of Phil's grandkids college.

+1 for the good guys...lots of folks out there making money, I'd rather see/spend my dollars on them and promote a positive message...hopefully the entertainment world will notice there is $ to be made and put more stuff out there that I can let my kids see.

And I think you're way wrong. They wouldn't do "anything" for a dollar. I doubt they'd put their name on a product that was considered unwholesome or against their family values.
I'd advise you to read Faith, Family and Ducks. Written by Willie and Kori, it's an account of the history of Duck Commander, and how they got to where they are today. It's a good read. Their business had suffered the same type of growing pains that many small businesses find themselves in. I'd say they worked their way out of that and are doing rather well. You better make hay while the sun is shining, because if you're in business long enough it WILL rain again.
