There is not one person on this site that wouldn't take the money if offered to put there likeness on something. Not one. Yeah I know "back when they were so much better, they sold out now". Don't act lime you would take $20,000 if I offered it to you to wear a pink dress for a day.

Its called Greed. Anything for a dollar.
And I think you're way wrong. They wouldn't do "anything" for a dollar. I doubt they'd put their name on a product that was considered unwholesome or against their family values.
I'd advise you to read Faith, Family and Ducks. Written by Willie and Kori, it's an account of the history of Duck Commander, and how they got to where they are today. It's a good read. Their business had suffered the same type of growing pains that many small businesses find themselves in. I'd say they worked their way out of that and are doing rather well. You better make hay while the sun is shining, because if you're in business long enough it WILL rain again.

Couldn't have put it any better. I wonder at thought of folks that think they should limit the amount of money they should make while the iron is hot. How many folks go back to their boss and say "you are paying me too much. I'd like to lower my salary so I can go back to the "old days".....I like being broke all the time".....good grief.
Anybody that wouldn't work harder or make more money given the opportunity to help better secure their family and their family's family with something like this is looney....It obviously doesn't take away from their family either.Last edited by Smart; 08-12-2013, 09:51 PM.
