Beans are blooming, 8 rows. peas are starting to make runners, 5 rows. mater and bells are putting on. 24 & 8. Squash is making , and corn is is about 2 1/2ft tall.
Put up 32 qts of maters last year. More pts of beans than I counted, gave away at the church and neighbors over 15 bushels of beans before pulling all plants up and feeding to my cows. They were loaded with beans too, gave the cows the scours. Also one row of okra about 120 ft long, reckon how much that will be!!!
Over 1200 ears of G-90 corn and did not keep a single ear for myself.
Put up 2 bushels of creams, 2 bushels of purple hulls and 2 of jackson's butter beans. gave the rest to cows. 100's of yellow squash and many bell peppers.
Most people too lazy to come pick anything

Wow you sure do grow a lot. That is cool. This is my first year to grow Okra. I hope I get a bunch of it. I think I got the runt of the litter when it comes to Jalapeno plants. It hasn't grown at all. Same size as when I brought it home from Lowes.

GR5 is the man! I might have to have him come up here next year to help me with my garden.

Some of you guys aren't gardeners you're truck farmers! Gee I am almost embarrested to post pics of mine. Oh well here are some from about 2 weeks ago. I got a late start. The maters have grown a bunch since these pics and they are blooming but I don't see any fruit setting yet. I hope they set soon before it gets too hot. Peppers have a few.

Looking good everyone! I've got about 35 or so tomato plants and they are doing very well and just now fixing to put on fruit. This is probably my best year growing tomato's. I also am growing squash, okra, jalepeno's, blue lake bush beans and watermelon. Everything is green and healthy. I'll get some pics up sometime this week.

I am starting to get some flowers on plants. I picked some spinach last night. Corn is getting taller and I have one jalapeno pepper that is about 3/4 of an inch long.

My zuccini, yellow squash and tomatoes all have blooms finally. Cucumbers probably need to be replanted, they seem stunted. Had to replant green beans and they are coming up real good now. Corn is knee high, sunflowers waist high, brocolli doing good. Need to replant taters but having trouble finding the time. Had to build 2 new deer feeders last night...gotta have them priorities right.

Here's my kid's mator plants. We been having problems with the tree rats, so my girls said they would hunt them down. Erin showing her tree rat license and Emmy with her brothers camo gun as she puts it. They are on a quest to rid their mators from the rats.

Here's ours.
Tomatoes: Roma, Early something's and Sweet 100's.
Peppers: Serrano, Bell, Cowhorn, Banana and New Mexico Big Jim's.
Herbage: Basil, Cilantro and parsley.
And the front left corner is carrots, which just sprouted.

I have been harvesting alot of peppers. I have 8 tomatoe plants loaded with green ones. My cucumbers were growing straight up and the wind blew them over and broke them in half, going to have to plant some new ones.

I was rocking right along with a conservative 18 tomato plants, 3 japs, and 2 cantaloupes. Garden is looking fantastic and loaded with fruit. All of these were planted March 20. Bird netting went up last week.

This past Sunday, my next door neighbor (who has never gardened) tells me he wants to go in with me and plant some more stuff.

As of last night, we now have planted...
zuchini
yellow squash
cucumbers
watermelons
radishes
carrots

I have never planted a spring garden this late. I will be curious to see how it takes.
