My question is if the threat is credible enough to justify closings, why did they announce that selected sites will reopen on Monday? Let's just tell them when to come and detonate their bombs.

Just what do they mean by "closing?" They're going to hang and sign on the front door and lock it. Pull the ambassador out? Pull out the amassador and security force? My guess is from everything I've been able to read is that they are just going to hand out a sign and lock the door. Which tells me the whole thing is probably a smoke screen to make the public and more likely the countries that are upset about the spying a little more ready to accept the spying. Of course it's not like spying has not been going on for years. We spy on them, they spy on us, been happening and will keep happening. The thing that has people upset now is that the common citiizen has been included like never before in this country. I'm old, tired and sleepy (way past my bedtime). Hope that made a modicum of sense.
