thanks for all the thoughts and prayers. His surgery was delayed and he is actually under the knife right now. They said it would take 10-12 hrs, and he would be held in an induced coma for 2 days following. If all goes well, he could be out in as little as 10 days. that amazes me.

He has a long way to go, but this is his only shot. I'll send updates as I get them. Thanks again.
