I’ll be trying my hand at bow hunting one on the king in March. Already got “certified” to shoot one with a bow so now just waiting on the date to do it. Been on the top of my bucket list for a while now.

Kid was fortunate and shot a cow and a bull on a hunt this year. It is top of my grocery list for sure now. Yesterday was first day in a week I didn’t eat nilgai. Just pulled out some ground about 30 minutes ago for lunch

I got their one and only cold front. The Nilgai bedded up and the only ones we saw were running full tilt. Rained from the time we got their past when we left.

We saw Nilgai, and my buddy killed one, but most of what we saw ran for 50 miles. Those cats clear out when they gas it. No chasing them down.

Got the first one last weekend while hunting with my 300 rum, but got the other one last year with my bow. That was a wild hunt, both spot and stalk.
