I had a severe leg injury when I was 7 and was told I may never walk on that leg again. Spent years at children's and then did a ton of experimental surgeries at Scothish Rite. Himself, big Al, and Kellie would come by often and spend time with us long term patients. I'm sure the Kidd's Kids will keep going. Sad day for sure.

Wasn't a fan of the show but I liked him. My old jeep had a broken radio that was stuck on his station. Loved the McKinsey skits. Those were my fav.

Great story. I had no idea he was so involved with kids charities. It sounds like he made an impact, in a good way.

I remember some of the "burn your buns" stories on the radio were funny.

Sad. I listened to them every morning.

The last one i listened to they were making fake eulogies for Kidd. Odd.

Definantly will be missed. I was not a fan of his show, but really respected what he did. As many of his friends have said he is already missed.

Very sad news. I've listen to Kidd off and on for about 6yrs. He really was a very giving and caring person.
