I have a couple of the Coverts, they are really cool, note, if you have the pics sent to your phone you need to put phone on silent or put in another room besides the bedroom, my wife was ready to kill me over those alerts going off every 5 minutes at 3 in the morning.

            Which do you like better?

I'm looking at grabbing a couple to put on a new place I'm hunting in S Central KS.

Battery life would be an important consideration!

We just got a new place on the Oklahoma side of the Red River and i've been thinking about getting one of these cameras. The cell service is terrible though. How much service do you need to get it to send a pic?

Do the pics have to go to a phone or can you send them to an email address? I don't think I would like constantly getting texts on my phone.

You can have them sent to 5 emails or 5 phones, or both. I have mine set to email.

Cell cignal was bad in both places we used them with AT&T. We bought the extension antenna & the grey electrical PVC. the grey PVC has a large mouth at one end so the antenna slides in perfect...a little duct tape at top &around a t post and signal is great.

I have them txt to me. Best thing is to program the number & have the ringer/txt for that number silent. Between 2, sometimes I may have 47 pics of deer, pigs or coons.

While out turkey hunting in the spring, we were about to leave & buddy noticed his feeder just took a pic of hogs. Got wind in face & snuck in...dead pig.

I just put up a new blind & can already see them checking it out!

You are paying too much at 19.99 a month. Go to AT&T and get a "text" only plan for 9.99 per month. I have the Uway UM562 and it has been flawless. Can speak to the Covert but have heard good things.

The only way you can get it for $9.99 per month is if you are a current AT&T customer and you add a line. Or if you have a 1000 text limit. For non AT&T customers that want unlimited texts/pictures it will cost $20 per month.

Gotcha. Dii not realize that. I do think I have the 1000 text limit but have never gone over.

Which antenna did you get? I tried the Covert antenna and it did not help mine.

We have ran 6 um562 this season and last. They have been very reliable.

I believe the spy point cameras work a different way then the other MMS cameras. Like you have to use their software to get the pictures at your computer. I am also puzzled to why the cost $599.

If it was me I would get more coverts or um562
