Carried us to a 4-6 record with multiple errors. It is time to shake things up.

Don't worry. The Yanks are coming in for I believe a 3 or 4 game series and the Rangers should sweep them as bad as the Yanks are playing and with all the injuries and lack of pitching they have.

Kins is very solid. Does he pop up some? Yup. The best ever only got a hit 4 out of 10 times. But when he got hurt the team really struggled. Kins isn't what is wrong with this bunch.

Ok, I can see that, but I would think Murph or Andrus have been the weaker players than Kins. Honestly, everyone has been underachieving lately.

team isn't going well right now. they had a six game losing streak in 11 when they went to the Series for the first time so it's not the end of the world but it is perturbing...

Yup, biggest concern is pitching. Maddux does a great job with the staff but they have not been sharp lately. Need one really good outing from someone to stem the tide. Some sharp pitching and a few timely hits could turn things around in a heartbeat.

I try to make a point of not turning on a computer on weekends. The Rangers sorely tested me this weekend. The Rangers base running, and base coaching, is killing the team. Gary Pettis is a one man wrecking crew. Wash needs to grab players and coaches by the collective scruff of the neck and shake 'em out of whatever mental malaise has infected them. I don't know if Wash has that in him. I'm afraid, just like last year, he will "it's only 1 of 162" the team to death. Slowly and miserably. The wife and i were given tickets to tonight's game. Maybe Yu can get it done. He'll probably need to throw a perfect game to win. We'll see...

BTW - Did Leury Garcia die, or go on the disabled list, and i missed it? Can he not give E a couple of days off? Elvis is LOST!

Just heard this post game quote from M Moreland last night: "I think we've won more than we've lost this year, and that's good". Brilliant.

I do believe Leury is in Round Rock since Profar is up.

If I see Pettis throw up the stop sign when the runner on third is 1/4 the way down the line again, my kids better have CPS on speed dial because someone is fixing to get a beating.

/Can't be throwing my beer at the flat screen now can I?

And Murph was halfway down the line last night when he threw up a single hand. I scared the dang lab when Baltimore had conceded that run and Pettis screwed the pooch again.

Wash needs to take his buddy and let him go back to first base and let Anderson come back to his 3B position. Pettis has done nothing but cost us runs since his "promotion"...

Quote on the radio this morning, to paraphrase, had Wash saying he told Pettis: Don't second guess yourself, keep doing what you're doing. I had the same reaction last night. It's situations like that that make me crazy about baseball. The idea of not "showing up" a player, coach, or umpire. I'd have been tempted to change Pettis and Anderson right then, mid-inning. Just like i might have pulled Murphy for almost throwing the ball to the ball girl trying to throw behind the runner going back to first, from left field. Moreland saved Murphy on that throw. Maddening.

In the grand scheme of things, the team is basically the same as the one that went to the Series and even last year, but the defensive play has been horrendous. The one major change, Martin, had been a bright spot in the defense until a few flubs this past week. It is like they have forgotten the fundamentals or don;t give a ****. Maddening is a good word to describe it...

Wash kills me...I hope he is doing a much better job at managing behind the scenes than he does in public because this..."just do better" stuff he puts on in public makes me want to puke when folks are constantly screwing up.
