      Something different!

Nematoads! Best thing to use. No chemicals! I raise bulldogs and haven't had a flea in years. Spray down once a year!

Used to use durasban(sp) or diazion(sp). Haven't have fleas in the yard since old neighbor moved and took her five dogs with her.

            Brandon,

Go see my dad. I am sure he will cut you a great deal. It will hurt for a while, but just a little bit....

I have heard you can put down sulfur powder....but I haven't tried it yet. I think it doesn't kill them though, just repels them.

I buy 38% perithrin, 75.00 per gallon, at the local chemical store. I mix it 2 oz per gallon to spray the yard, 1 oz per gallon to spray in the house, and 4 cc straight on each dog for monthly maintance. You can spray cattle with it as well.

If you will put one of the Advantix or other similar treatments on all your pets once a month, you won't have to treat the yard, house or anything else. If you try to stretch it out longer between treatments, it won't be as effective. I used to dip my hunting dogs with a pyrethrin dip after each trip to the lease to control fleas, but my vet convinced me that I was wasting my money if I'd just use the K9 Advantix or Advantage (or whatever they are called) any flea or tick for that matter that gets on the dog will be dead in a very short period of time. I've had inside and outside dogs for 15 years at my house and knock on wood have never had fleas in my yard or in my house, and that's all I do is without fail put the treatments on all our pets once a month.

                      The neighbor's cat?

I used to hunt with a guy who'd throw a blacktail in the back of his covered pickup, catch the neighbor's cat, toss it in the back, and the next morning the deer was as clean as a whistle. Cat was not happy- he always said it should be in the house if the owners really wanted it.

                        Nematoads?

Nematoads are parasites that feed on all kinds of bugs in the ground. Fleas, grubs, ants and other unwanted little critters that live in the ground, but not earthworms. If you have dogs or cats Nematoads will help.
