Stop viewing Him as the BIg guys up stairs...and began to see Him as the Sovereign God of the Universe...personally my faith really began to grow when I distanced me and God in the BFF kinda relationship and looked upon Him with awe and reverence.

I am just going through a ruff patch as of late and everyone I talk to says turn it over to the big man up stairs and what going to be is going be. I have a hard time with this I hate not to be in control of my life and I know its the right thing to do but its hard. Any TBH Brothers or ststers got any advice on how to just give it up?

I'm going through a tough spot right now in my life as well. Everyone told me the same thing...don't worry it will all get better...God has a plan....and like you I was frustrated because I just wanted to control the situation. I do not like not being in control! Its just who I am! But I tell you when I finally learned just to let go and not to try and control things so much, things got a lot better for me! Ya I still struggle at times and yes it is still hard but I do have a sense of peace that God will take care of me as long as I just turn it over to him! The serenity prayer has also helped me a lot. Every time I get stressed or feel this anxiety come over me I just say it out loud and it helps me to calm down! Hope it helps!

I don't question God, I just follow his plan and surround myself with believers. Lots of great Christians on TBH who were once in your shoes and made a decision to let go and let God .

He is ALWAYS in our presence as miracles happen daily. Those who do not have faith can't witness the miracles because they have blinders on and fall to the temptations of the devil.

God puts certain people in your life for a reason.
