I agree the term entitlement is key. Respect goes out the window. Self respect never gets the chance to surface. Without self respect, there will be nothing to base how to treat others. There also is no value system established since the individual becomes the only thing valued.
Double Rod, I would have had her point them out right then and dealt with it. Yes, it was her fight, but reinforcement of a principle never hurts.

I agree. We t a young family. I'm 31 and wife 32. We have 5 kids and that's one thing I will not stand for. Weather it with siblings or anyone else. I will make them go back and apologize for something if need be. Good for you for standing your ground
