Manners have gone to hell!

I don't rant very often but my blood pressure is through the roof right now and I just have to do it! I just left Walmart where I was waiting in line in customer service. I had been standing there for about 5 minutes before this man and woman came up beside me and had their cart right next to me like they were next. They just looked like they thought they were next in line and sure enough, when the person in front of me left, they made a bee line. I started moving as soon as they did and made it first. He started ranting right away that he was there first and I said, "NO, there is a line back there and I was here before you even showed up!" I had my money out and on the counter at this point and he grabbed my arm and said, "No, I was here first." I can't tell you the last time I have been that angry. I told him FIRMLY, "You had better get your hand off of me or you will be VERY sorry!" By this time I am sure I was making a scene but I DID NOT care! They stood there and argued while I continued my transaction and I walked out first, the whole time giving them the blah blah blah hand gesture and no, it was NOT the middle finger. They were not from this country but that doesn't matter. MANNERS HAVE TAKEN A BACK SEAT IN THIS COUNTRY AND I FOR ONE AM TIRED OF IT! I DON'T CARE WHERE YOU ARE FROM!!!!
My husband was furious when I told him what had happened and wanted to go back in but this was my fight, and I think I won!

My wife had a similar incident with a middle-easterner at the airport. He probably had no clue he was about to get chewed up by a five foot woman. Unfortunately, the incident will not change how he treats women...it's his culture.

Congrats on standing up to him. I have to admit I didnt realize you were a woman at first. When I realized it I instantly became angry. Dont know what kind of piece of crap thinks he can grab your arm but I hope next time someone busts out some of his teeth!
