What's the earliest anyone has gotten results?

About a week after they initially do the draw.
RC is a good place. Been drawn twice in a row there before and on the second trip, me and my group stacked them up like cord wood.

We hunt about 4 miles from there, and there is ALWAYS some big big bucks in that forbidden zone field. Does it border that?!?

I've hunted Richland a couple of times on GDE (Gun Deer Either Sex) and it is a nice place. If they do it like they did a couple of years ago, you have an assigned compartment, which is all yours unless they decide differently. I have never had that happen in eight draw hunts (all were by compartment).

Any trouble with other hunters?

Depends on who you put in your group!!!
I had mossman500 and he was ALL trouble!!! Helped him put a lock on stand up in a tree from hell!!! But he filled his tags from it!!
What happens, if you get drawn, you will be given an area (compartment) to hunt in. Nobody but you and whoever you put on your card (if you do a group) can hunt it.

Got my book yesterday finally.

Good luck, Fred! I'm considering applying for RC too but it's so close to our ranch that its like hunting the same land. So I always veer away from it even though one of my old buddies applies for that hunt EVERY year and usually does well. He shot a 164 out there a few years ago. I'm told there's quite a few bruisers in there so I always consider it.
On a side note, I was going to apply for Kerr again (that place is awesome!) but they're doing some tagging of bucks this year that hunters can not shoot. Decisions decisions...

Me and fred only hunt about 4 miles from RC, but I've seen what's in the forbidden zone. I sent in for it.

I put in for gun anterless/spike at Huntsville, archery deer at Abilene, and exotic gun at Garner.
