What kind of bug is this

Scary insect. I have no use for insects with the exception of lady bugs and honey bees.

Spiders and snakes don't bother me... but something about a centipede gives me the willies. Is it true that they have a stinger on each leg?

Have been stung by one and it hurt like hale. Was gathering up some firewood and when it stung me I thought it was a scorpion until I saw it. Another time at work I felt something crawling up my leg while sitting at my desk. I rolled out from under my desk and there was a huge one crawling up the outside of my jeans. Just about came unglued when I saw it!
