Hurl him out into the yard and call it a day. You won't see him again.

You were lucky. We were on a job site at the Kenedy Ranch and I was working with an electrician. It was around midnight, we were dead tired and it was just the 2 of us. All of a sudden he jumped up and started dancing and screaming. Then I saw the centipede fall out of his pants leg.

He spent 2 days in the hospital in Kingsville for that one.

Been stung by them on 2 different occasions, the most painful thing I have ever felt.

One in a boot and the other one fell on me and stung me before I could slap him off my shoulder

Man I was fishing along the Colorado river the other weekend. Two of these nasty suckers came strolling up on us and started chomping on our cut shad! Craziest thing I've seen in the wild in a while! Defiantly look like they could do some damage to ya!

When I was in the Army I was deployed to Macedonia and I got into my sleeping bag one night without checking first. I suddenly felt like someone was taking a blow torch to my lower leg. I scrambled out of the bag and a 12-inch centipede came crawling out. I'm just glad he didn't make it all the way up my leg

They are poisonous and people have died from them.

When I was a kid I had a tarantula in an aquarium as a pet. I had him for several years and fed it crickets. I caught a centepede and put it there with the tarantula. The next morning all that was left of the spider was a couple leg sections. The pede killed and ate the whole thing in one night. It died for it's gluttony. I really liked my spider.
