I'm pretty sure they bite/sting. All I know is if one ran across my foot, something would have got broken! They give me the heebie jeebies worse than scorpions!

I always call them a red head centipede. They will sting and from what I hear are very painfull. Never been stung by one and hope I don't.

That is a centipede and they will LIGHT YOU UP if it stings you. Those things are nasty and put out one of the nastiest bug bites you can get!

centipede. cut that sucker up in more then two pieces. If not they regenerate. I might be one of those snake lovers, but kill all pede's. Mean nasty attacking SOB's.
