It's a cool idea. I gave my wedding band to my wife the day after we married and have not seen it since....20 years. We have been talking about me getting a ring tattoo lately, think I'm going to.
Will most likely get a Celtic style. As for the marriage going south, don't get a name tattoo'd on your hand. But FTR, I have my wife's name on my chest for 20 years with no regrets or worries of the marriage going south

One of my best friends and her husband got each others name on their finger because he is in the army and cant wear his...i think the idea is neat...and if u r worried about the name cause "it may go south" u probably shouldnt have married her lol j/k i say why not go for it...if i wasnt a chicken me and my husband wld have it done

All I saying is there are a lot of folks who never plan in getting divorced but it happens. Heck, there is someone new on tbh every week
