Take a Purple onion and some Mushrooms..Cut top and bottom off onion and peel off outer layer, place in foil with mushrooms and 1/2 stick of butter and seasoning salt.Wrap tight in foil and throw on grill next to steak...Cant overcook it with the butter ,pull off after 20-30 minutes of indirect heat...Then u can cover the steak or eat alone grilled/Sauteed Mushrooms and onions...Good for the Lease as well..

Brussel Sprouts--- don't laugh, its seriously good. Quarter, and sautee in butter or bacon grease in a cast iron skillet with diced garlic and onion until they are golden brown on all sides.... serious good with a steak. Even my 4 yo eats it up

I like to do grilled squash and make a salad. I boil red potatoes with the skin on, drain, then mash with lots of butter, sour cream, milk, and cover with cheese.

Tom Perini's green chili hominy is hard to beat.

Follow it up with his bread pudding, and call it GOOD.

baked bean, mac & cheese, grilled corn in the husk, sweet potatoes.....

We always like the Pasta Roni or Pasta salad too. These are really good and very easy.

Why do people like to ruin a good steak with seafood? I'll never understand it.
