Getting my Skooter up and running. Hydraulics went out two summers ago and I've neglected it ever since. Shame one me! Started digging into it last weekend and have made some progress. Have trailer parts on order. Steering had seized so thats been taken care of. Carbs are cleaned and engine is running. Just need my trailer parts so I can get the boat in to the shop to get the hydraulics worked on. FYI, that's not where the gas tank goes, just pulled it out to get rid of the old gas. I've had this boat for a number of years and it has been a great/reliable boat. This boat can run skinny, skinny skinny

Buddy gave me a hot box he used once then gave up. The thermostat was out and he "insulated" it with house hold aluminum foil. I replaced the thermostat, added chains for the lid, test holes to put a thermometer in with covers, insulated with foam board, and a small fan inside to keep the temp more even while heating.

Hey Matt, what's the purpose of the hot box for laminates? What does it do (besides get hot inside)?

Put the laminates together with an epoxy resin in a form/press then place that inside the hot box to help cure the resin.

Replacing coulters, double disk openers and seed tubes on a Marliss no-till drill and greasing the **** out of it! Figured I could find the parts for pretty cheap why not make it as brand new as possible. Should be done by this weekend.

I was given this pit and started to rebuild it the way I want it. I will say I think starting from scratch would have been better and easier.
