WORK YOUR NETWORK TO A JOB.
People you know, people your folks know, people your neighbors know, people you go to church with know. Get out of the house and volunteer at some group that has something to do with what you want to do. I know that's not specific, but sit down and think about it.
Go to school or learn a skill/craft now if you can swing it financially.

I've met some guys (2) that are billionaires now that started as rig hands. Not even sure they had degrees or anything like that. Go work on a crew and get to know the oil patch. The sky is the limit with a good work ethic common sense and a little bit of luck.
Btw, these guys got good at what they did, and started their own companies, started recognizing what area where prolific and put land packages together. Yes it is doable.
