Great news Irishman be glad to shake your hand sometime this weekend
Looking at the map and Mercedes is about 45-50 miles from Port Isabel. Seriously thinking the yaks may come but does it really take 3hrs too get there?
I was going to flood irrigate the yard and then I started thinking....just going to add mosquitos to the fiesta The rain was all around me for a week...got one or two brief showers at the house.....have to start irrigating sugar cane. It did rain in the Floodway block a couple times down south but has already started drying out...loooks like the weather is cooperating. We need to decide what we want to eat... we will eat dove at least once I doubt anyone will be hungry or thirsty...BBQ pits are available all around...no need to bring BBQ pits guys..I got that covered...The Party Tent goes up Saturday morning. I think we should try some hog out on the big pit at least once...maybe a cabrito too, top sirloin butts, or pork butts...everyone let me know and I will turn Leyda loose at Sams My mother in law will make several different hot
sauces, pico de gallo, and guacamole each night...fresh corn tortillas from Mexico will also be available for quesidillas. Our bean specialist is in charge in that department...he is also in charge of security Thanks Chris! your the man!
Marcos, I'll dig though the freezer today and pull out some pig and what back strap I have left & get it thawed and prepped.

Just so everyone is in the loop, my 92yr old Grandmother is having a procedure tomorrow on her heart and I may be jumping back and forth from Mercedes over the weekend. I got some support with other family but still need to be available if pinged. I'm not gonna sweat it too much and just roll with the punches & sure I'll see everybody regardless this weekend.
