Sally just sent legdog a picture I took yesterday with my cell phone. This picture is the floodway block where there was an onion field a few weeks ago. Its transformation amazes me. Mother nature works wonders when she wants to...this field has never been irrigated so far. I think there was submoisture from the last irrigation of onions. The onion harvesting crew practically made a parking lot out of it. I ran the rows with a tri city rip and hill and then ran a pipe roller and the planter came right behind...that night we had a gentle rain. The 55 looks totally different since the whole field was planted. The salty part showed up because I was too stubborn to irrigate. Eventually I broke down and irrigated part of it. It has more flowers that ever before but isnt very appealing to the eye just yet but looks better everyday...the flowers are right on schedule and flights of whitewing already fly by at all hours of the day in the floodway. I dont why they wont let us hunt on Saturday but we will make the best of it. Maybe Corndog will sing for us
