Yep-I probably have 10 in the pink hologram in my tackle box. The devil and corky are my favorite lures for Sabine.

He sold out to MirrOlure and there was already a company out of Florida called "corky" and because MirrOlure is big and didnt wanna get sued they changed the name to Paul Browns Original.

Then Mr. Brown retired just south of Lake Charles, La. He started making more and continues to call them Corkys but the new ones have swivels in the middle of their back. You oughta see these, I'll try to find some pictures.

Yup it's called Brown lure company. I am friends with them on face book and his grandsons are running the buisness.

I don't think they are one in the same. The grandson's have their own business and the Corky lure is not connected to them, just Paul manufactures the Corky lures and they are sold through Bruce.

One of my go to baits at Sabine for bigger trout has been a shallow diving crank bait like a Heddon swimming image in shad color. It only dives 3-4 feet but from the boat I cast parallel to the rocks along the north levee and at the jetties. At the jetties I also have had real good luck on the 3.5" Stanley wedge tails in black with chart tail, red shad or the Berkeley gulp jerk shad in limetruese with 1/8 ounce lead heads. If you are at the jetties and want redfish throw some wedge tails or h&h cocaho minnows in pumpkin with chart tail.

That swimming image is deadly! Been a secret of mine for a long time. I twitch and pause it and as it starts to float up they whack it!
