had one like that on our old ranch, on his neck though. when we killed the buck it turned out to be a piece of an antler that broke off when he was fighting. The deer just walled it off (surrounded it with thick tissue) and it did not bother him at all.

U maybe right we have a lot of bucks on our place and the placement of it seems like it could happen

Yea I thought that where he had been struck and punctured from fighting
The fact that the lumps are mirrored on both side makes me think he may have deformed shoulder blades. The 4 lumps all look equally spaced. If you imagine the shape of his shoulder the lumps look like one is on the top of the blade and the other is further back on the blade. Maybe just a deformity.
