1. Buy the new ring
2. Sell the old ring
3. Buy your husband the gun hes been talking about for a while (you know the one)
4. Everyone goes to sleep happy happy happy

Personally think its between your husband and you. If your okay asking him then im sure he will say yes. Your heart knows his answer already. If you dont know him well enough to know his answer then well maybe....

Everybody's a little different, but I would prefer mine to keep the original. She didn't go shopping for it or have any idea what it looked like or when it was coming, so I may have put a little more effort into it than some others. And I saved long enough so that "upgrade" shouldn't enter her mind when she looks at it.

I hope I don't have to worry about that. My wife designed the Victorian setting and picked out the diamond on the first one. I spent way more on it than I had planned!

Upgraded the wifey's ring when we were in New York a few years back. She still has both rings and occasionally wears the old one just for a change of pace. I'm on my fourth ring. Broke one, lost two. Just a gold comfort band.
