Tannerite bomb for pigs?

Has anyone tried making a tannerite bomb for pigs? Or would this even work?

Heard one idea was to fill a small coffee can with tannerite, put it in a bigger coffee can and surround the small coffee can with BB's, nuts, etc. Stuff some T-SHIRT around the side of the small can that's facing you so the BB's nuts aren't shot in your direction. Then shoot it when the pigs are around it......

Theoretically that would work, but what distance would you need to be? How much tannerite? Never used the stuff myself. That would suck to kill yourself using too much.

I would definitely make myself some sort of shelter to hide behind. Would not do it from a pop up ha ha ha

I've never used the stuff. Would putting a few lbs in a can and shooting it with no BB's etc in it kill a few pigs huddled around it munching on the goodies?

No, a buddy of mine shot 10 pounds of the stuff right next to a 175 or so pound boar and they had to shoot it again to kill him. But the tannerite did knock him on his ***. Also lots of misconceptions about tannerite. It does not catch fire or have any type of spark of flame, so accelerants or shooting it at night will not cause a ball of flame like many people think it will. If I were to try it I would use 10 pounds and put some sort of shrapnel around it to actually cause damage and be 100 yds away and shoot it with something bigger than a .223. We have had horrible result when using .223 but amazing results with bigger rounds like .30-06.

Yeah I saw that video. Basically u would need shrapnel around it to kill them. I'd probably atleast be 200 yds away personally..

4 lbs or more i thik will do some damage with no shrapnel as long as they are close to the container.....I think you might actually get a few to go airborne

No way Id make something with shrapnel, absolutely no way to determine blast radius, angle of propulsion of shrapnel, etc. Guess I'm a
Fraidy cat lol. Seen too many videos of crap like that going awry.

I doubt it, I have seen video of 10 pounds vs a 175 ish pound boar. The exlposions really aren't as big as people think they are. Just loud and lot of smoke so they look impressive but with out shrapnel they are just big firecrackers.
