Hadn't been yet, but have done my research for the past 2 years. Still trying to set up a trip, but the Devil's River is the destination. According to TPWD it has the cleanest and clearest water of any natural water body in the state of Texas. Takes 2 days to yak and has an excellent small mouth bass fishery. As soon as I'm finally able to set it all up that's where I'm going. There's a few outfitters online that will charter kayak trips down the river, but they ain't cheap

There is a lake in Arkansas that is mostly owned by the Army Corp of Engineers. It it's full off islands and you can camp on any of them. Probably my next trip.

Plenty RV camp sites on the lake. Water and power hookups. Corp lake.
Arkansas, about 60 miles north of Texarkana.

The Cossatot can be a class 5, like LostHawg says. Lots of tilted rock beds and tricky places. Very challenging. The Little Missouri (Arkansas) is supposed to be fast also. The Mulberry in Northern Arkansas can be very good too. Beautiful and scenic, it has lots of rapids and not a whole lot of flat water. Also, look at the Glover in Oklahoma. If it is above 4.5' it is moving and is fun for kayaking. Don't do it below 4' though, you will drag and drag and drag. Personal experience speaking.
