About to trade in my Wife's GM product as well and the **** door lock actuators have gone out and she has two new cracks in the cheap *** dash. It is a 2008 Z71 Tahoe, loaded, with 52K miles on it. I hate GM products. Won't do it again.

Oh man that sucks. It'll be funnier in a few days.

Back in the 90's i was trading in my first truck, an old mid 70's ford that needed a quart of oil with every tank of gas. It hadn't been running for a couple of weeks and I needed a new truck. my uncle came over and helped me and after a couple of hours of jimmying with it we finally get it running. It really needed a laundry list of stuff for it to be running good. I was afraid that when I got to the dealership to trade it that if I shut it off, it wouldn't restart for them so I left it running. I knew which vehicle of theirs I wanted, so I went in, made a deal on it and told the guy, "I like our deal on this, but I want to trade in my truck." They went out, test drove it, shut it off, agreed to give me about $1000 for it, and we finished the deal. To this day, I don't know if they were able to get it restarted without working on it. I doubt it, but they never called. I left and had my new truck and got a little more than $1000 for the old one.
