Right now they have enough people helping out. I know any donations of any kind will help. A lot of people have lost homes and are in need of household items. No other updates right now. Search and rescue has ended and they are in recovery mode now.

If anyone is making a trip from beaumont with a trailer, i have dang near an entire house worth of furniture in storage, nothing fancy but its not junk. I work 7 12's pretty much all year and i wont have time to get it up there but I would love to donate it all. Please PM if you are in my area and can get it there. Thanks.

I have a lot of family there. And lost a few...
DFD Capt. Kenny Harris was my cousins Godfather. We have had our family reunion in Cottonwood every year for the past 40 years. David Pratka, my cousin, lost everything in the explosion. But him and his family are alive.

We (Ellis County Strike Team) were headed down yesterday afternoon but got turned around when the state deployed the TIFMAS teams. I have a few friends on the Obsession Teams. They are saying late next week before they are needed.

You guys find those missing pieces and get them back to their families!!!!!!!

My BIL and his wife were there from China Spring. He was helping organize the staging area and she worked triage. They both said it was awesome how all the departments were able to pull together and handle the workload. Hats off to all the teams involved.
