You should get it all back after filing a fraudulent charge report.

Do I detect a pattern here? As in "It happened to my wife . . ." or are the guys not owning up to their failures?

          Love the good old miss-information!

          So will Chase and EECU.

This happened twice on our EECU account. They figured the card number/info was fished on a gas pump. Just wish I knew which one so I could avoid that one altogether. It's the day and age we live in. Criminals are getting smarter and work harder. You just have to watch your accounts and act fast. The bank will work with you if you catch it quick. Other than a few days being without the money, it was all returned within four business days.

Had mine stolen from the gym.. Guy was smart he just took my debit card and none of my cash.. Never knew it until the bank called the next day saying there was "suspicious" activity on it. Guy ended up going to Wally World and dropping 350$!! I got all the fraud money refunded by Bank of America!

My company credit card # was stolen earlier this year. I got a call from US Bank on a Sunday and they asked if I had been in Canada the week before. "No" says I. Woman said she didn't think so b/c there were simultaneous charges in Austin and in Canada. The thief racked up $1870 at restaurants, liquor stores, gas stations and pharmacies in about a week. Glad it wasn't my money.

One of my superintendent's card was hacked last month. They tried to charge in KS a couple of minutes after he bought gas in TX. The bank shut it down pretty quick and he was not responsible for the charge in KS

So does BoA. I speak from experience. The down side is it takes a few days to credit. Not so fun if they wipe you out.

I went back to credit cards or cash.
