    No more excuses (long read)

Growing up, age 7, I had a bad accident. Being a stupid kid I did something I was not supposed to and it changed my life forever. This is the result today after years of surgery, quit counting at 67. No tendons, ligaments, or muscle left in right quad area. I was told I would never walk, I played football 8th grade- 10th grad, much to the surprise of multiple doctors. Yes my doctor approved.

I have been 240+ lbs since my sophomore year, 2002. I have lost weight but never kept it off. Always made excuses that my leg hurt, or I couldn't do it. I lost what I had growing up, the feeling I could do anything I wanted. Last Thanksgiving my brother-in-law challenged me to a weight loss challenge. I started at 245 and today I am at 192. I kicked his butt! I did this all with dieting. I ate half of everything I would normally eat, that's it nothing special. Today I am starting to workout, NO EXCUSES! My goal is 180 and to be fit. I have never minded being big but know now how much better it feels not to be.
Starting the 100 push-up workout but also using it for a sit-up routine. I will do this Mon, Wed, Friday.

Tues and thurs I am doing cardio, anything that gets me moving nothing special.

If there is anyone wanting to loose weight PM me and I will help with support. Support is the most important part of weight loss. Do it with no excuses, trust me you will feel better and be a more energized person.

Very inspirational. Im in the middle of my quest to get more fit as well. I am eating right and working out and have been for some time. I didnt get that way in a short period of time and I knew it would take a while to get it back off. For me it has been more about lifestyle/eating habits change. I have no real goals other than knowing I wanted to look better and feel better. Who knows where it will end up. Good luck and feel free to PM me when you are in need of some encouragement. I here for ya.
