Exmark, Hustler, Bad Boy or Dixie Chopper?

I will be mowing 3 acres, and am going to spend the next week driving the different mowers to see which one I like best. I have done a lot of research, and know I want to get a residential model with a 48" deck. Do any of you have any knowledge or experience you are willing to share?
I'm looking at the following mowers:
    Exmark Quest
    Dixie Zee 2
    Hustler Sport
    Bad Boy ZT Elite

I have a Bad Boy and absolutely love it.Mows great and haven't had any maintenance issues yet.I would recommend a bigger deck size unless you are worried about going threw gates or have allot of landscaping.I mow my neighbors yard as well now that her husband has passed away and its 2 acres.Mine is a 42"deck and it takes me forever to do her yard.

X2 for bad boy and bigger deck. I mow 2.5 acres in about an hour with 60".

When I worked as a Crew Leader in Landscaping/mowing business back in the day. SCAG and Bunton was all we used. I love to use 72" walk behind zero turn mower with Velke, an attachment with two wheels that you stand on behind the mower, instead of one to match the rear wheel of the mower to create perfect stripes. One wheel leaves ugly wavy line in the middle of stripes, depending on how you stand on it. It doesn't allow the feet to rest even like this one does. Less tiring, especially when doing this 6 days a week, on a big commercial properties.

Riding mowers are very comfortable, but be prepared for back ache after long day of bouncing around. Scag is a good company but there are a lot of good commercial mowers out there like Ferris, Hustler, Dixie Chopper and so on, not just scag.

                  Good luck.

Whether you own a home or a commercial fleet, you know quality matters when it comes to a riding mower. At Husqvarna, we work tirelessly to deliver the best zero-turn lawn mower lineup to our customers.

I had to throw one more in the mix.

I bought a hustler heavy duty with 54" cut about a year ago. Cuts and rides good. I mow about 2 acres in I guess an hour or so never timed it. I looked at the sport model but I didn't like that it had a smaller engine and the air filtration system was not nearly as good as the HD model. I test drove scag and Dixie chopper as well. The chopper was rough riding compared to the hustler and scag. I went with hustler over scag because I got a little better deal on basically the same mower and they have a longer warranty. Also if your credit is good they usually have 0% 48 month in house financing. I know scag is running that promotion right now.

I love my hustler. Had it 5 years now and no problems.

I would make sure I was running the Kawasaki motor for sure.

IMHO, if I could go get any mower that I wanted, it would be a Dixie chopper. Those things are awesome!!!! With that being said Bad Boy, Scag, Ferris, and Kubota are all great mowers too. Oh and hustler.
