Since you professed your faith in God...... Here's the way I think you have to look at it. Since God has already forgiven you for the mistake, then you MUST forgive yourself, otherwise, you are saying to God that your standards are higher than HIS. If HE'S forgiven you, then forgive yourself and recognize it as a mistake, which you have. Now that you've confessed that to your wife, the rest is up to her to decide. In the meantime, you can work to get her back, or move on if that is not an option at the moment. Sometimes, it takes time for someones heart to change. Get focused back on living your life for HIM. Maybe there will be some changes in you that will help to win her back at some point.

Thats going to start back up this weekend for sure . Hopefully i can find one i really get involved in along with the kids . It's just hard for me to start a new church when i have been at the same one since i was born , but i'm just an not getting what i need from it anymore .

Just remember that you don't go to church to "get" , you go to church to "give". He has done his due dillegence in "giving" to us, now it is our turn to "give" back to him with a life lived FOR HIM, not for ourselves. It's a simple trade off in sound, but as you are experiencing (as all of us do) it is NOT a simple task. God bless you in your efforts to regain the peace in your heart.
