Have no fear of spiders unless I'm in a house full of brown recluse, but since I'm in the pest control business I see them as competition...KAS

We don't kill spiders, they eat other bugs. Black Widows and Brown Recluse are the exceptions, they would die.

I've killed a couple of black widows already this month,one in my yard , one in the barn. I don't pick anything up around here w/o thorough inspection! I got tagged last week by a scorpion. I was in the barn, this scorpion apparently had crawled up my pant leg. I felt something very lightly touch my ham string-when I rubbed it with my hand -hit tapped me three times in the ham and hit me again behind the knee while I was dancing like a girl, trying to get me pants off!! You can see /hear the snakes...the spiders and scorpions are much more silent and much harder to see-I hat'em!

Snakes don't bother me, neither do spiders. Ticks on the other hand give me a BAD case of the Heebie Jeebies! I went fishing with some buddies last weekend, and one showed me a tick crawling on his hand. I said a very bad word and instantly felt them crawling all over me. Nothing was found after a thorough search though. Thanks Stu!

Cool spider nothing really scares me.... Now I have a huge respect for things like snakes, spiders, and creepy crawling things... Of course I dont want a spider crawling on me but am I scared to death of any of those things no I have grown up to long in the country.... I use to have a pet wolf spider, that stayed in my room and would follow me into the bathroom. It would run back and forward under the bathroom door when I am sitting on the toilet... Though I think your spider is a young tarantula.... Never seen a wolf spider that huge, only seen brown spiders get that big...

I don't know why I torture myself reading these kind of threads. I HATE spiders. Some of my most unmanliest moments have come in the presence of those horrible creatures. Yuck!

You better believe that. I would have got some hairspray and a match and would've dispatched that sucker that way. I HATE spiders. Creepy, disgusting critters.
