child support question???

Usually 25%for first child 3% for every other one after. That is the way it was when I went thru my divorce

Its 20% now. 25% for two and 30% for 3!

If you both have a kiddo I'm pretty sure there should be no child support if I remember right. Is this a alimony request she is making? If so just don't even talk to her about it. If she wants to fight you on this let her hire an attorney first. No use wasting the money till she makes the first move.

2. How much is 4% of your income?

Multiply answer #1 times answer #2 -- compare that to twice whatever your lawyer says the process will cost. Use a 2x multiplier because you will probably go through this process at least twice before it's all over, or your lawyer will be off on his estimate
