My ex and I were divorced back in October2012. My 15 year old son chose to stay w/me, and my daughter went to live w her. We agreed to 16% of my pay because she did not have a job. Well fast forward to this weekend. She still doesnt have a job, and she's not looking. She called me and wants more money.. She wants to up it to 20%..B4 I get a lawyer what do you think will happen. Thanks for your input...

She might be legally entitled to the child support but it sounds like she wants Spousal Support as well, and this far after a divorce, I doubt she would get it.
It also sounds like you have grounds to show that she can't provide for your daughter, which would show a judge that your daughter should come live with you.
Before you agree to anything though, talk to a lawyer. I know a good one in the Ft. Worth/Bedford area if you want to PM me. He's on this forum sometimes as well.

1 kid with you, 1 kid with her, cancels out.Tell her no, and that if she doesnt have a job in 30 days, your daughter will also live with you.Ive been down this road, when we went to court, the judge pretty much called her a bum, and told her the same thing. She got a job less than 10 days later.

I am going thru a divorce right now, with 3 daughters. She is going to get 30% for child support, plus another $1500/ month for 18 months for alimony. She is capable of working, but refuses to do so. My attorney says that alimony is usually given at a amount of time given for 1 month for every year of marriage. Leaves me barely enough to pay rent and buy groceries.
