The typical "thwap" was extremely loud, and hid did a full flip. My buddy, who was calling, and I just looked at eachother dumbfounded.
Successfully killed other yotes and javelina with that same rifle, but that one experience sticks in my mind.

I shot a yote with my 300 Wby around 160 yards and he did the same thing. He made it about 80 yards with no lungs. It happens sometimes I guess.
Hornady 20 gr v-max. Head and neck will put them down. Behind the shoulder at 100 or less yards will kill them but they run a bit.
Yep. The 20gr V-Max. I can group em good on paper out to 200. Haven't tried any farther. Not sure how lethal it is past that but 100-150 you should be good with coyote or hogs.
