Is hunting over a feeder cheating??

I am watching that Maine Game Warden show called North woods Law. They are making a huge deal over a bowhunter who was deer hunting over bait. They went on this rant about it being flat out cheating and how the guy is stealing public game resources by baiting. It's really amazing how different game laws are from state to state.

Isn't hunting a feeder just hunting over a food source. What makes a feeder much different than hunting over a food plot. Or how about hunting over a watering hole. Or perhaps, hunting a few acre patch of woods surrounded by acres of crop land. You setup where the game is going...

A lot of the bait-hating Midwesterners set up in the only corridor of woods running through hundreds of acres of crop fields... Yeah, feeders are cheating.

I don't buy the argument that hunting a feeder is easier than hunting a natural food source/funnel/bedding area. If you put a feeder where there aren't any deer, you sure won't have a very successful season!

If you get right down to it food is bait....water is bait....a bedding area is bait....and deer poontang is bait....

Everybody hunts some kind of desirable bait.........

                    To **** with the Yanks....

Do these people realize that humans are supposed to be smarter than the animals? If we use our brains and kill them then how is it cheating? If its legal where you live then fire away!!!!!!

Watching a feeder isn't my thing but what ever makes you happy is all that matters. Mature East Texas bucks are about impossible to kill during daylight hunting a feeder.
