And I think we have the name calling right half the population around here is straight from mexico and they all call them burritos. Never understood why east texas folks call them tacos.
Man all those years in the South Texas coastal area and being out numbered by about 8 to 1 and those Mexicans had it all wrong all this time.

I need to let them know... I sure traded a lot of ham and cheese sandwiches for flour tortilla "tacos" back in the day.

Here is how it went in my old part of the world....

Breakfast taco.....homemade flour or corn tortilla (but mostly flour) filled and FOLDED over one time with a number of freshly made ingredients. The top can be rolled to fit it in the aluminum foil cover..

Breakfast burrito....large flour tortilla, stuffed with the same fresh ingredients above and rolled......or some fake eggs, bell pepper, onions mixture at McDonalds, Sonic or Whataburger....

Bacon egg cheese and bean can't make up my mind either from tasty taco in Sinton or mi Ranchito in Taft.

My favorite breakfast taco is from a little dive in Uvalde and it is a "sweet breads" taco. Love'em with some hot sauce.

But my other one is the tacos from Del Norte Tacos..I have never actually been there to eat, but he is a friend of mines friend. We hunted together last year and he graced us with some of his tacos...All I can say is freaking wow!
